What is a Floon you ask ? A Floon is short for Fookin Lunatic. The Floons are a bunch of old guys, local musicians from Massachusetts that got together and write unusual songs, we hope you like them as much as we like creating them. Thanks for listening.

I was asked to step in as a replacement drummer
for The Floons to finish recording their cd "Sleeping With The Peepers"
just a few months prior to going into the studio.
As you can hear, things worked out for the best.
My music career influences are, of course, Ringo Starr and The Beatles,
Mel Taylor of Ventures fame, Keith Moon, Brian Bennet
of The Shadows, Mick Avoy of The Kinks,Charlie Watts,
John Bonham, Ginger Baker, and all the rest of the 60'sBritish Invasion.
My interest in Jazz ans Swing comes from all those great drummers of the
Jazz Era of the 40's and 50's; Gene Krupa, Speedy Jones,Joe Morrello,
Cozy Cole,and Buddy Rich, just to name a few.
I've played in many different bands and styles over the
50 years I've been playing drums from classic oldies,rock,country,
jump blues, and swing.
I've taught a number of students over the years in
drum rudiments and reading.
My solid beat and bare-foot playing make me the band's engine.
